I live in FL and it takes longer than 1 hour to completely dry (while standing in front of a fan too!). I have found better success with Sublime Gelee Dark in both color and drying time (it takes 30-45 minutes to dry) and Loreal Sublime Bronze Dual Action Instant Bronzer Self-Tanning Lotion for Face, Medium - 1 Oz. I'd previously been happy with the L'Oreal Sublime in the orange container (it does a great job but it's seriously stinky).I am very pale. I didn't do much outdoorsy stuff last summer and I live in the north, so that's almost two years without tanning - you can imagine how light I am. I put this stuff on about an hour before going to bed. I rubbed it in thoroughly and made sure that I could no longer see any of the tint. As instructed, I washed my hands afterwards. THE GOOD: This stuff smells fantastic. It reminded me a bit of Christian Dior's "DUNE" fragrance. It's tinted, so you can see where it's going. It has tiny shimmer sparkles in it, which make the skin on your body look amazing after application.
